A Quick trip though Slovenia

After Oktoberfest, Pia, Dela, Ben, Tom & I hired a car and cruised down, straight through Austria and into Slovenia for the night. We ended staying up in a little town called Bled. It was a very cute little town with Virgin Mary and Jesus Shrines on almost every corner.
These pictures are of Lake Bled from the castle on top of the mountain in town. The little island in the middle has a church on it. All day you see people in their electric and little row boats heading out there.
Kaz is actually making her way to Slovenia this weekend I believe....have a ball Kazza! xx

The backyard of the pension/B+B we stayed in. This is in the middle of a little town. Although a little town, packed in quite close, each house had it's own barn, tractors and barn animals. Quite funny.
One of the castle spires
