This one's a little old but thought i'd put it up...it was just when we got home from the pub in Putney on Australia Day. Damo gave us these beautiful hats at the Walkabout!

Anzac Day Challenge

Saturday 22nd April 2006, the day we got our first English Suntans..Yes such a thing exsists!
Anna, Marisa, Karen, Lizanne & I headed down to Acton Town to watch the Anzac Challenge. Damian Weirden (friend from Kyabram) was playing aussie rules for one of the teams in the days tournaments so we jumped at the chance to watch some footy! For the other girls, it was their first taste of the game although given the surroundings the focus for the day did drift away from the actual matches. It was great though, we were able to sit back enjoying the sun drinking VB's, eating meat pies and even Pizza shapes and cheezels!

We caught a train up with the driver in pairs, as the tickets were sold out, then decided to hike down to the bottom...Meant that we didn't have to feel too bad about eating easter eggs the next day!

The Easter Bunny came and left footprints and eggs. Pity Karen, Pokey and Dani weren't over excited to find them due to the huge previous night across the road in Colwyn (North Wales)

This place was soo cute. It was tiny and in the middle of nowhere. In the background you can see the church, to the left was an old Castle/Monastery and to the right up a little hill was the town. To get here the roads were practically one way! From the front of the church you could see in the background all the cliffs that would drop off into the ocean. Beautiful place!
